Between the 11th and 13th of March 2020 the 28th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-based Processing (PDP 2020) took place. Due to the latest events caused by COVID-19, the PDP 2020 organization decided to carry out this edition in a virtual way.

GMAP member Gabriell Alves de Araujo had a paper published in PDP 2020, entitled Efficient NAS Parallel Benchmark Kernels with CUDA. Gabriell is a master’s student in the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) at the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Gabriell started at GMAP as an undergraduate student when he was a student in the Computer Science course at PUCRS.
