GMAP member presents a paper at SBLP 2020

The paper “Stream parallelism annotations for Multi-Core Frameworks” was presented at the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages by GMAP member Renato Hoffmann. The event was in a virtual format and the presentation happened at 15:45 on day 19 of October of 2020.

The Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages (SBLP) is a forum for students, researchers, and practitioners to present and discuss ideas and innovations in the design, definition, analysis, implementation, and practical use of programming languages. In 2020, the 24th edition of SBLP took place together with the Brazilian Conference on Software: Practice and Theory (CBSoft) (https://cbsoft2020.imd.ufrn.br/index.php). CBSoft is an event annually promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) to foster and encourage the exchange of experiences among researchers and professionals from academia and industry and on the latest research, trends, and practical and theoretical innovations on software.

The CBSoft took place between October 19 and 23, integrating the 24th SBLP and three other traditional events of the Brazilian Software Engineering community. The 24th SBLP took place on October 19. All events occurred in a virtual way due to the Covid-19 events.

The paper “Stream parallelism annotations for Multi-Core Frameworks” was presented at the 24th SBLP by the GMAP scientific initiation student Renato B. Hoffmann. The work was oriented by Dr. Dalvan Griebler and Dr. Luiz Gustavo L. Fernandes. In addition, it had the collaboration of Dr. Marco Danelutto from the University of Pisa.
