Euromicro is an international scientific organization that advances the sciences and applications of Information Technology and Microelectronics. A significant focus is organizing conferences and workshops in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Annually, the Euromicro organization hosts the Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed, and Network-Based Processing (PDP). This year, the 31st edition of the event took place from March 1st to 3rd in Naples, Italy.
Nowadays, Parallel, Distributed, and Network-Based Processing have undergone significant changes. New architectures and applications have quickly become the central focus of this area, resulting from the interaction between parallel and distributed technologies with other rapidly evolving technologies. It is essential to review and evaluate these new developments compared with recent achievements in established areas of parallel and distributed computing by industry and the scientific community. The goal of PDP 2023 is to provide a forum for presenting these and other issues through original research and to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and new ideas at the highest technical level.
This year, two works by GMAP researchers were presented at PDP 2023:
- Revisiting self-adaptation for efficient decision-making at run-time in parallel executions
Adriano Vogel, Marco Danelutto, Dalvan Griebler, e Luiz Gustavo Fernandes
- A Latency, Throughput, and Programmability Perspective of GrPPI for Streaming on Multi-cores
Adriano Marques Garcia, Dalvan Griebler, Claudio Schepke, André Sacilotto Santos, Jose Daniel Garcia, Javier Fernandez Muñoz, e Luiz Gustavo Fernandes
